The video shows Dasgupta calling BJP's IT-cell chief Amit Malviya. "You won't do anything," Malviya can be heard saying to the police on speaker phone.

UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya reacted to the FIR filed on Janata Unnayan Party chief Humayun Kabir over Babri Masjid construction in West Bengal. He said, "It (Mosque) won't be made...and even if it's made, it'll not last." He added, "This is the country of devotees of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Lord Shiva, not of devotees of Babur."

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey submitted a motion to suspend Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership. A 17-year-old student, Satyam Prajapati, missed his Class 12 English board exam in MP's Shahdol after being jailed as an adult for joining a protest during CM Mohan Yadav's visit. His lawyer said documents showed he was 17 years and 8 months old and blamed delays in the bail process. The administration, however, said he was released on time.

It wasn't a mere whistleblower act. Police are investigating the availability of leaked online versions in countries like the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis responded to NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar's conspiracy claims on the untimely death of his uncle and former Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in a plane crash. Fadnavis urged that conclusions be drawn only after the DGCA concludes its investigation. "I believe that if anyone has any doubts, they should be addressed," he added.

The Centre informed the Supreme Court that Ladakh activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was detained under the National Security Act, cannot be released on medical grounds. "We've examined 24 times...He is fit...He had some digestive issues, and he is being treated for that," the government said. He was detained on September 26, 2025, after violent protests demanding statehood status for Ladakh.
